Jenelle is an Indigenous woman of the Syilx Nation. As a child living in a rural area, she spent her Saturdays practicing yoga after the morning cartoons. There were times in her life when she was called back to yoga. Remembering the poses, she practiced by memory, and referred to books. Through yoga and meditation, she has improved multiple areas in her life mentally, spiritually, and physically. Jenelle struggled with chronic pain for four years, and now manages her pain through yoga. She is working to maintain a healthier lifestyle for herself, and she desires build a community for those who yearn for better health. This is why she is establishing Ki (Key) Yoga Inc. In the Syilx language, Ki means “yes”. Say yes to a better you!
